A tribute to our brave and precious little girl Nalah, who lived valiantly with Full Trisomy 18. Nalah is an inspiration, a blessing, and our greatest love.
A POEM FOR NALAH
A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam.
For a brief moment it's glory and beauty belong to our world.
But then it flies on again, and though we wish it could have stayed, we feel so lucky just to have seen it.

We Are The World Of Trisomy 13 & 18 -- 2012 Awareness Video .m4v
This is a brilliant video created by a friend and fellow trisomy Mom, Jill DelSignore. Many children we know are featured in the video, including Nalah. The children are shown at most vulnerable and after the benefit of medical care/interventions. This video tackles the 'philosophy of care' that suggests that treatment is futile for our kids head on. The photos speak a thousand words. Watching it will be time very well spent. Please take time to witness this. Thank you Jill, for advocating so strongly for our kids and for proper (i.e. ethical, competent, compassionate) medical care. It means the world to me. Thank you.
